GDPR / Privacy Policy & System upgrade & Status

Hi,
Over the weekend we will move the forum to a new setup on AWS EC2, right now it runs on Lightsail.
Next week we will provide an update on the development.
And we will come with a privacy policy, which is GDPR inspired . as we naturally intend to be compliant from day one (but guess we lack a bit since we didn't post a privacy policy yet)

As mentioned, we planned to move to EC2 from Lightsail, this was delayed because of issues running (upgrading to) NodeBB 1.8.0, but NodeBB has released 1.8.1 short time ago and it seems to fix the issues we saw and operates just fine. We will test a little more and hopefully switch tomorrow.

Todays change to the database required a small addition to our Privacy Policy, stating the fact, that MongoDB Cloud Services are managing the backend. Your data is still at the same facility, in Europe.
